How can production and intralogistics be fully automated?
Using the plastics processor Junghans as an example, fpt robotics demonstrates how the intelligent networking of injection moulding machines, robotics, automated guided vehicles, automated packaging technology, warehouse technology and IT creates a fully automated value chain.
By decoupling production and dispatch using an automated miniload system, the foundations were laid for flexible 24/7 production. At the same time, manual handling was reduced, space was optimised and real-time transparency regarding stock levels and orders was achieved.
This presentation provides insights into the planning, implementation and integration of a challenging transformation project and demonstrates how companies can sustainably increase their reliability, efficiency, flexibility and resilience through intelligent production logistics.
